Analyze & Act lesson helped me automate my weekly reports
After watching 3.2 Analyze & Act, I realized I could use AI to help with my weekly sales reports. I now paste my raw data into AI, ask it to identify trends and outliers, and then I review and edit the summary. What used to take me 2 hours now takes 20 minutes. The course really emphasizes practical application and this was my first quick win.
Using AI as a Thinking Partner - game changer for my team
Module 4 was my favorite. I've started using AI as a brainstorming partner in our weekly team meetings. Instead of going in circles, we feed our problem into AI, get 5 different perspectives, and then discuss which approach makes sense. It's saved us hours of debate. The 'Make AI Personal' lesson gave me great ideas for customizing AI tools to my workflow.
The Choose step is underrated
I think a lot of people skip right to prompting, but the Choose step in ACTIVE™ is really important. Different AI tools are better at different things — I've learned that Claude is better for writing, ChatGPT for brainstorming, and Gemini for research. The course doesn't push one tool over another which I appreciated.
Welcome to AI Savviness 101 — Tips for getting the most out of this course
Welcome everyone! This course is designed to be practical — we encourage you to try each technique as you learn it. Here are some tips: 1. Follow along with a real AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) as you watch 2. Complete all three Practice Reviews — they're where the real learning happens 3. Pay special attention to the ACTIVE™ Method in Module 2 — it's the foundation for everything else 4. Don't skip Module 5 on Responsible AI — it's crucial Share your experiences and questions here in the forum!
Module 5 on Responsible AI should be mandatory for everyone
The section on Trust, Accuracy & Bias really opened my eyes. I had no idea how much AI-generated content I was sharing without verifying it first. The lesson on Human Judgment was a great reminder that AI is a tool, not a replacement for critical thinking. I've started fact-checking everything now.
Module 6 got me excited and nervous at the same time
The lessons on next-gen AI and AI agents were fascinating but also a bit overwhelming. The idea that AI can now take autonomous actions and complete multi-step tasks is incredible. I'm glad the course ended on 'Staying AI Savvy' — it reminded me that the goal isn't to know everything, but to keep learning and adapting. Great course overall!
Question: How do you handle the Verify step when AI sounds very confident?
One thing I struggle with is that AI responses often sound extremely confident and well-written, even when they're wrong. The course talks about verification, but in practice it's hard to know when to trust and when to double-check. Does anyone have a rule of thumb? I work in healthcare so accuracy is critical.
The ACTIVE™ Method changed how I use ChatGPT
Before this course I just typed random questions into ChatGPT and hoped for the best. The ACTIVE™ framework — especially the Assess and Tell steps — completely changed my approach. Now I think about what I actually need before I start, and my prompts are so much better. The Practice Reviews really helped cement this. Anyone else notice a big difference?
